Our Story

Hi there!  I’m glad you visited our website!  Windy Hill Farm Est. 1852 has been rooted in the soil of our Stark County community for generations. What began as a working grain farm growing corn, soybeans, and oats evolved over time to include farrow-to-finish hogs, sheep, beef and dairy cattle, and registered Boer goats. Through each season and every chapter, the land has continued to provide. Today, that same ground produces field-grown specialty cut flowers and foliage — a natural extension of a farm that has always cultivated life. From grain and livestock to blooms, Windy Hill Farm remains deeply rooted in tradition while growing forward with purpose.

The addition of a walk-in cooler in 2025 allows us to sell to wholesale suppliers and local florists. Visitors (by appointment only) can stroll the flowerbeds and cut their own buckets of flowers. We also create custom bouquets for special occasions, and sell buckets of flowers for events (such as weddings or parties.) Our hundred year old dairy barn now doubles as a design studio with enough space for small groups to attend workshops or to create your own floral masterpiece.

You can find our seasonal bouquets at pop-up events, local coffee shops, and workshops and events at the farm.  Additionally, we have pick up locations in Toulon, and Princeville for custom bouquets.  I regularly donate flowers to local nursing homes, schools, and community events.  Please contact me on the “get in touch” page if you have a need.

Thank you for visiting Windy Hill Farm Est. 1852 -
